What are the baggage allowances for passengers flying with Emirates Airlines?

Baggage allowances may vary depending on the distance of your flying journey. All passengers are allowed one piece of hand luggage of 7kg in the cabin.

  • Economy Class – Passengers are allowed two pieces of checked luggage of 23kg.
  • Business Class – Passengers are allowed two pieces of checked luggage of 32kg. They are also allowed two pieces of carry-on luggage, which includes one briefcase and either one bag or one garment bag of 7kg each.
  • First Class – Passengers are allowed two pieces of checked luggage of 32kg. They are also allowed two pieces of carry-on luggage, which includes one briefcase and either one bag or one garment bag of 7kg each.
  • Infants – Passengers of any class of service that are travelling with an infant are allowed one extra piece of checked luggage of 23kg.

Passengers are offered an online check-in in order to save time at the airport and to choose their seats. Online check-in is made available between 24 hours to 90 minutes before the flight departure time.
