RwandAir Express is the national flag carrier airline of Rwanda. It operates domestic and international flights to regions in Africa and the Middle East from its main hub at Kigali International Airport. The airline is considered to be one of the youngest airlines as it was establish in December 2002 but is also considered to be one of the fastest growing airlines in Africa.

The cabin baggage policy of the airline states that each passenger is restricted to one bag that does not exceed the weight limit of 7kg. This weight restriction is only applicable to flights to and from Johannesburg. All other destinations have a cabin baggage limitation of 10kg.

- 1 umbrella or walking stick
- 1 ladies handbag
- Reasonable amount of reading material

Checked baggage allowances are as follows:
The maximum allowed weight for each piece of checked luggage per passenger is restricted to 30kg. Luggage that exceeds this weight restriction will not be accepted as checked baggage. This allowance may differ by class and route.
There are currently no online, web or kiosk check in services available for RwandAir Express. Passengers must therefore check in at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of an international flight and 2 hours prior to a domestic flight.
